It’s almost impossible to think about Colorado without thinking about mountains. With a varied topography of high plains, valleys, canyons, and plateaus, the entire state sits above 3000 feet elevation. Dominating almost half of the landscape, it’s the famous Rocky Mountain Range (running nearly down the center) that creates some of the state’s most famous and wonderous features, including more than 50 peaks above 14,000 feet. With opportunities for endless year-round outdoor adventures, spectacular scenic drives, several historic railroads, four national parks, and big cities and small towns galore, Colorado attracts tourists and adventurers from around the country and around the world.
Inspired by the flora and fauna of the Rocky Mountains, this design features elk, evergreen trees, and groves of aspen with snow topped mountain peaks in the distance.
