Perched right on the edge of the southern end of Monterey Bay, the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium’s amazing exhibits include sea jellies, sharks, deep sea creatures, tuna, and so much more, including an underwater view of a kelp forest teeming with sea life. This design was inspired by the abundant sea life of Monterey Bay. Bright orange garibaldi (the state fish of California) and schools of sardine swim among a kelp forest in the brilliant blue sea.
